Ripple's proposal to acquire Circle for $4-5 billion has been rejected.

Gate.io News bot, Bloomberg reported that Ripple made an offer of $4 billion to $5 billion to stablecoin issuer Circle Internet Group Inc., but the offer was not accepted. Currently, Circle is moving forward with its go-to-market plan submitted earlier this month. Ripple has not yet made a decision on whether to make a new takeover offer. In response to the market rumors, Circle declined to comment, citing a regulatory quiet period at the SEC, and said it could not further disclose its financial plans.
