xAI partners with Kalshi, bringing the Grok chatbot into the legal prediction market.
Elon Musk's xAI collaborates with Kalshi – a federally regulated prediction exchange – to integrate the Grok chatbot for real-time data analysis. Kalshi users will be able to bet on events such as Fed interest rate decisions, Senate elections, or inflation indices.
This agreement expands Grok's progress into the prediction space, following a previous deal with the Polymarket platform. xAI stated that both "are joining forces to bring Grok to the prediction market – where the two fastest-growing companies in the U.S. are on the same team."
It is currently unclear how Grok will be specifically integrated, but Grok 4 – the latest version – was announced earlier this month with significant improvements in reasoning and information retrieval.
Notably, xAI and X had previously chosen Polymarket – an unregulated competitor – as their official partner. Now, with the simultaneous collaboration with both Kalshi and Polymarket, Elon Musk seems to be experimenting with Grok in various legal frameworks of the prediction market.
