The FED***, which made its first rate cut last September and paused its rate cuts in January, continues to approach interest rate cuts cautiously.

On the other hand, US President Donald Trump is putting pressure on the Fed and Fed Chairman Jerome Powell to cut interest rates.

Speaking at the Economic Club of Chicago last night, Trump took action after Powell reiterated that they would continue their cautious approach.

Posting on his Truth Social account, Trump called for a rate cut, citing ECB as an example.

Taking aim at Powell, Trump stated that he did not want to work with Powell, implying that he should resign.

Stating that he disapproves of Powell's leadership, Trump argued that the Fed should have lowered interest rates much sooner. He also noted the urgency of Powell's replacement.

"The ECB is expected to cut interest rates for the 7th time, and yet, the Fed's "Too Late" Jerome Powell, who is always TOO LATE AND WRONG, gave another and typical speech yesterday, which was a complete "mess".

Oil prices are down, grocery stores are down (hatta eggs!) are down, and the U.S. is GETTING RICH WITH TARIFFS.

Too Late, the Fed, like the ECB, should have cut Interest Rates a long time ago. Anncak should definitely drop it now. Powell's demise can't be fast enough!"

It is eagerly awaited how Powell will respond to Trump's statement.
