The ETF possibilities for 7 altcoins have changed: 2 coins are leading the way.
Bloomberg has updated its evaluations for seven altcoins awaiting the SEC's decision on the spot ETF (investment fund). ETF analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart note that the likelihood of spot ETF approval for altcoins before the end of 2025 has increased.
According to this assessment, the highest approval chances are for Litecoin and Solana. Analysts predict that the spot ETF applications for these two cryptocurrencies will be approved with a 90% probability this year. Following them, XRP is at a 85% probability, Dogecoin at 80%, and HBAR comes next. Although the projected 75% rate for Cardano, Polkadot, and Avalanche is relatively lower, it is still considered quite high.
In the previous analysis published at the beginning of February, Litecoin was again given a 90% probability, while Dogecoin was 75%, Solana was 70%, and XRP was 65%.
The ETF decisions are expected to be announced in the third and fourth quarters of 2025. Although there is still a possibility that the SEC could reject the applications, experts believe that this likelihood is lower compared to previous periods.
