Grayscale Adds 2 Altcoins and Removes 2 from Its “Top 20” List
One of the giants in crypto investment, Grayscale, updated its list of high-potential altcoins for Q3 2025. According to their new report, Avalanche (AVAX) and Morpho (MORPHO) were added, while Lido DAO (LDO) and Optimism (OP) were removed from the list.
Grayscale’s updated “Top 20” list now includes:

Avalanche stands out as a rapidly rising smart contract platform, with significant transaction volume growth, especially following the integration of the MapleStory game. This surge could strengthen Avalanche’s competitive position in the sector.
Morpho has shown major growth as a DeFi lending protocol. Operating mainly on Ethereum and Base networks, it has locked over $4 billion in assets. Recently, with Morpho V2, it aims to bridge traditional finance and DeFi. Grayscale believes Morpho is well positioned to capture a significant share of growth in this area.
