Sui will hold its first gaming summit during GDC to showcase new features of Web3 games.
Sui plans to hold its first major gaming event during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this March, showcasing its capabilities to support various types of games and providing developers with new player interaction features. The one-day event, named "Play Beyond: Sui Gaming Summit," will take place near the conference and will comprehensively discuss how Sui enhances the gaming experience by driving player-driven economies and innovative game models.
Sui, with the fastest performance in the blockchain field, makes large-scale Web3 games possible, providing players with a smooth experience. Its scalable architecture also allows game developers and players to keep infrastructure costs at a manageable low level. Sui's technology offers unique on-chain features for games, such as dynamically updatable NFTs and a royalty enforcement mechanism for IP-related assets, granting publishers special control over in-game assets, creating a limited ownership experience between developers and players.
The summit will take place simultaneously with the main activities of GDC, featuring speeches, discussions, development workshops, and live game demonstrations. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with partners who have benefited from Sui innovations to discuss the future direction of gaming.
