The corn at my hometown will be harvested soon, and in half a month, we will start planting rice again. Finally, I can take a break and take a good look at the projects! Continuing to follow GOAT!

I remember when I saw the price prediction activity that GOAT Network was doing on X last week; I happened to be eating and just clicked in to make some guesses.

At first, I didn't pay much attention. Although I knew that the technology and economic model of this project had some novelty, I, like many Bitcoin holders, was no longer someone who gets excited just by hearing new buzzwords. There are only so many ideas I can think of.

I have seen several rounds of price guesses, and I was really a bit surprised. Some people gave very optimistic numbers, and some even dared to guess high. It's quite rare to see such a unanimous sentiment among everyone in BTCFi, especially since this project hasn't even launched its mainnet yet, and there hasn't been any airdrop.

But what really made me stop and think about the GOAT Network is their recently launched BitVM2 testnet, along with an important change behind this testnet: Real-time proving. You can also check out this link:

Now all Bitcoin Layer 2 projects are shouting words like security, scalability, and native, but GOAT is the first one to truly run a real-time validation ecological network.

If you have used other Rollups, you have probably encountered these situations:
When withdrawing, it gets stuck on "Generating proof" and can't move.

When the network is busy, transaction verification gets stuck.

I have a large amount of funds on hand, but I can't unlock them that quickly.

The root of these problems actually lies in the proving (generating and verifying ZK proofs) step, which cannot be processed in real time, but the latest data provided by GOAT Network is quite good:

Block validation time: 2.6 seconds

Aggregation verification time: 2.7 seconds

Groth16 SNARK ultimate compression verification time: 10.38 seconds

These three stages are processed together, meaning that from the moment you initiate a transaction to the completion of verification and proof on the blockchain, the entire process has no delay at all, and many transactions can be handled simultaneously, making the experience particularly smooth. What's more critical is that you can see the verification progress of each step in real-time on the UI page. This level of transparency is still rare in the entire BTCFi industry.

Let me show you an example of path tracing:

Real-time proving, what is this thing really? Why do you care about it?

If you have certain requirements for Bitcoin Layer 2, you should know that being able to withdraw your coins at any time is still very important in BTCFi.

Currently, those Bitcoin Layer 2 projects, no matter how good they sound, are basically the same: proof requires manual packaging, and users have to wait in line for verification in a centralized team. When users want to withdraw their money, they have no idea how long it will take.

This actually doesn't even meet the most basic standard of "finance usability". Other projects are still saying "we're testing it", but GOAT already allows you to try it yourself and shows you the entire verification process.

Check the results on the dashboard, it's clear how long it took.
For me, real-time proving solves the three most critical problems of Bitcoin Layer 2:

The issue of slow withdrawals → Now it can be done in just one second.

Real-time verification, you can withdraw BTC at any time.

The issue of insufficient utilization of node funds → Now it can keep flowing.

Proof and transaction are completed together, improving efficiency several times.

The uncomfortable issue of development → Now we can really create real-time applications.

For developers, only systems that can provide immediate feedback are truly usable L2s.

GOAT can achieve real-time verification, and the technical aspect is roughly as follows:

Each block will generate a block proof individually, with multiple validators simultaneously performing aggregation and SNARK computations, processing each step in parallel without affecting one another.

Run Ziren zkVM with CPU and GPU to ensure verification speed. The average block generation time is 3.4 seconds, and the verification system can keep up with synchronization.

In short, the speed of the verification system is not slower than the network itself, and performance will not be a limiting factor.

In the BTC network, the verification speed of GOAT is relatively fast. As a BTCFi project, the GOAT Network has completed the practical operation and verification of each step and is continuously iterating.

In the area of BTCFi, real-time proving is indeed a place where the differences in technology can be observed.

The verification process can be directly seen on the interface, which makes BTC Rollup more convenient to use, instills more trust, and allows tracking of items through the traces.

Its staking yield and price changes can be verified with real data on-chain. Additionally, the operator rotation system and decentralized sequencer are all documented in the system.

The next step for this project is to launch on the mainnet. If you are interested in BTC Layer 2, you might want to learn more about it.

The revenue and growth of a project can be observed from the usage of the community.
The BTC staking APR of GOAT has been reported to reach over 40% at its peak, while it is about 8% under normal conditions; the APR of GOATED has been consistently above 100%.

It has some features: supports paying Gas fees with BTC, uses a decentralized sorter (rotation mechanism), has MEV capture and redistribution functions, and the profit distribution is continuous and stable. Specific earnings can be referred to at this link:
Unlike some BTCFi projects that claim "will launch on a certain chain in the future, will have airdrops in the future", GOAT is currently available for use, can see profits, and can be verified.

The price of the currency reflects the market's feedback on the system to a certain extent:

During the pre-launch period, GOATED reached a maximum increase of 855%, unlocking S3. The community has a generally optimistic outlook, and the current increase is relatively stable, supported by relevant fundamentals. The coin price can refer to the OKX link:

Regarding growth, it needs to be viewed rationally, according to the Chief Economic Expert of GOAT.

Professor Redouane once raised a question:

What is the underlying asset linked to the yield? If the linked asset is a token that may lose all its value, a high annualized return is meaningless; the yield needs to be tied to sustainable value, and there is a correlation between GOAT and BTC.

In the Bitcoin Layer 2 space, there are hardly any other ecosystems that reach a similar level.

GOAT does not engage in conceptual hype; it is genuinely building a system.
For those who frequently use BTC, try its peg-out withdrawal feature.
For those who play with DeFi, see if its gas fees are really low.

If you just want to check the trading-related aspects, just pay attention to the price and staking APR, this website can help.
No matter how you look at it, GOAT Network is quite a solid infrastructure in the current BTCFi L2.
