[Chain News] PANews, August 15, news that a certain Mining Pool achieved over 51% Computing Power dominance on the Monero network in the latest experiment, resulting in the reorganization of 6 Blocks and the isolation of 60 Blocks. Preliminary official reports indicate that the Mining Pool mined approximately 80% of Monero Blocks within two hours, obtaining a total of 750 XMR and 7 million XTM. The remaining unsold Tari and new mined XTM totaling 1.72 billion QUBIC have all been destroyed, valued at about $55,000. Miners and Computing Power contributors received 6.22 billion QUBIC rewards, approximately $200,000. The network peak Computing Power reached 2.71 GH/s, accounting for 52% of the global Monero Computing Power. This experiment is still ongoing, and independent experts are evaluating the specific impact of the 51% Computing Power dominance.
